Madison sat in her personnal theater, she had just been watching one of the many tapes she had of Sakura.
"Sakura and Li looked sooo kawaii in those costumes!" she said to herself.
It has been 6 years since all that Cardcaptor stuff was over with. Yue is still part of Julian and Kero is still living in Sakura's dresser drawer.
She sighed, "Sakura never got to tell Li how she felt".
Suddenly Madison got an idea. She dashed out of the room and to the nearest phone.
She dialed a rather long number and waited. After a short wait, someone answered it.
Madison spoke with a sly smile on her face. "Hi, could I please speak to Meilin?"

Sakura walked down to the park, she was suppost to meet Madison at the summer festival at 12:00 but it was now 12:38. No matter how hard she tried, she could never break that habit.
"Oooohhh...where is she?!" Meilin was getting impatient. She turned towards Madison and Eli.
"She's probably just late again." Madison looked over her camera to make sure it was working.
"Well Li isn't going to stay forever you know!"
"What did you tell him anyway?" Eli asked.
"Weeellll..." A grin plastered her face. "I told him that Sakura was in trouble and needed his help." she said simply.
"Won't he be mad when he finds out you lied." Madison was getting worried, if Li got angry, he'd deffinently be upset with them.
"Well, when Sakuras here, he'll forget all about it. Don't worry so much Madison, he really loves her."
"I know...but it was mean to make him worry..."
Madison looked at the crowd of people at the booths and saw a very familiar honey-brown haired, green eyed girl bounding up to them.
Sakura stopped infront of them panting for air.
"You're late Avalon" Meilin yelled.
She brought her eyes up in suprise, "Meilin! Eli! What are you two doing back?"
"We came to the festival and to visit." Eli lied skillfully.
"Ok!" Sakura said happily.
Madison whispered to Meilin "Stall her, I'll fing Li." Then spoke louder to Sakura. "Ummm...Sakura, I'll be right back, I have to go see something." With that she ran off down the path.
"Hey Sakura, wanna do something for me?" Meilin asked looking unusually happy.
"Ummm..." Sakura sweat dropped. "I guess Meilin."
"Well there's this guy that I thought was really cute and I want you to talk to him for me."
"Who is it?" Sakura asked getting really curious as to who Meilin was attracted to.
"I think his name is Kaji..."
"Kaji Tomishi! He goes to my school."
"So will you talk to him? Please."
"Of course Meilin."
Meilin, Sakura and Eli walked around the park looking for Kaji, well Meilin and Eli kept a look for Madison and Li, but never found them, so they just continued on.
"Hey! There he is!" Meilin pointed towards a handsom looking blonde wearing casual clothes. She pushed Sakura forward. "Tell him about me k?!"
"Alright." Sakura walked over to Kaji, while Meilin and Eli hid behind a bush. Kaji watched her approuch with a huge smile on his face.
"Hey Sakura!" He greeted her.
"Hi Kaji!" She stood infront of him. " I need to talk to about something."
"Alright, but I think I know what you want to say." He grinned mischieviously.
Sakura blinked in confusion. "You do?"
He nodded "And I want to say, I've been waiting for you Sakura, and now I know you feel the same."
"Wha..!!?" But before she could continue or react, he bent over and kissed her forcefully on the lips, holding her body to his roughly.
"Shes right....oh no." Madison and Li came into sight. What they saw, surprised Madison and tore Li apart inside. Sakura was ingaged in a deep kiss with some boy, Li had never seen before.
Before he could think, he ran off, not really knowing where to, he just ran. He had to get away.
"Li wait!" Madison called out after him, but he kept running.
Meilin and Eli were out of the bush staring at Sakura and Kaji in total shock. " I didn't know he liked Sakura." Meilin said to no one impraticular.
Sakura heard Li's name being screamed by Madison and her brain instintly began to work, and she slowly realised what was going on, and who's lips were on hers.
She pulled from Kaji's tight grip and slapped him HARD, on the side of the face sending him falling sideways.
"YOU INSENSITIVE JERK! What made you think that I like you!!?" She yelled at the stund Kaji. Then turned she ran toward Madison and the others.
"Sakura! Li just ran off toward the playground."
"Li's here?!" She asked realising he must have seen saw what happened. She wasted no time and ran to the playground.

When Sakura got to the Playground, Li was sitting in the shadows of the slide. He was slouched over and shaking slightly. Although she couldn't see is face, she knew he was crying.
"Li." She called out to him.
He looked up and stubbernly wiped away his tears.
"What do you want?" He asked quietly.
"What's wrong?" She didn't have to ask him that, she knew it was because of that Kaji guy. Li loved her, or still does by the way he was acting.
"Shouldn't you be with that guy?! You seemed pretty happy with him earlier!" He yelled at her not looking at her face.
Sakura was a little taken back and confused. "You don't understand Li..." She went to sit beside him, but he stood up and sat on the swing.
"I think I understand perfectly." He meant this to come out sarcastic, but it came out all choked up and in an angry tone.
Sakura felt her eyes fill up with water and felt a tear slowly creep down her cheek, "I don't understand Li, why are you acting like this way, I..."
He cut her off and looked at her. His eyes were filled with sadness and anger. "The only reason I came here was because I thought you were hurt....but by coming here...I was the one getting hurt." He said the last part quietly, but she still heard.
Sakura was suprised that he thought that she'd ever do something like that. It hurt inside. She raised her voice. "You think I wanted that jerk to kiss me?! How could you ever think I'd hurt you like that?! I'd kiss you over anyone anyday!!!" She realised what she said and was totally surprised by it, and by the looks of it, so was Li. His face went from sad and angry, to sheer and as red as a tomatoe from the cause of blushing.
There was along ackward silence between them. Both not knowing what to say or do. They just stood there, staring at each other.
Little did they know, Madison, Eli and Meilin were in the bushes, taping the whole thing (big surprise there ^_-). They couldn't believe Sakura's words either, they had gaped lookes on there face ^o^, well except for Eli who just had his mysterious look on.
As they stared, they didn't notice the panda bear walk into the clearing, pushing a hot dog stand.
It walked over to Sakura and Li getting their attenton, then it took of its head.
"Hey squirt, what's going on here?" he asked, glaring at Li, who was already glaring back. (Gee, I wonder who this could be?)
"Tori! What are you doing in a panda suit?!" Sakura asked, still surprised at how many part time jobs Tori actually has.
"What does it look like I'm doin'?" He turned to face Sakura, totally blocking Li out now. "So what's going on?!"
But before Sakura could answer, Kero burst through the bushes."Sakura! I sense a clow card at the festival! Hurry!!" Then he flew off with Sakura and Li in hot persuite.
"Hey Gaki, better not touch my sister!' Tori yelled ahead to Li, then started running after them, but finding it hard in his big panda suite and cart.
Madison, Eli and Madison followed, still taping. "I didn't get to make Sakura a costume." Madison said sadly well Eli and Meilin sweatdropped.
When they got back to the festival grounds, they were surprised to see everyone fighting. And what was even stranger, they all appeared to be couples, Husbands and wives, even the happiest of couples were scubbling over something or another.
"What happened?" Madison asked from behind.
Sakura turned in alarm."Madison?!"
She giggled sheepishly and hid the video camera behind her back. "Oh...Hi Sakura!"
Sakura shrugged it off and turned to Kero who had already turned into Kerobearus. "How can there be a Clow Card? I thought I captured them all!"
"I thought so too Sakura! But this is deffinitly a Clow Card." He glanced around at the fighting couples who didn't seem to notice anything around them. (well they would have to be like that, they'd think it would be strange to see a Lion with angel wings, don't u?^-^)
"Sakura! It's coming from right over...," He stopped as a younge women that looked around their age, glided through the crowd. She had beautiful sparkling, golden hair that came down to her ankles, sad deep blue eyes and a flowing black, formal robe. "there..." Kerobearus finished, getting into a fighting stance.
"She looks so sad." Sakura said to herself.
Li didn't know what to think. He felt a strange power,but he didn't know who it was coming from exactly. Both Sakura and this girl held the same ora.
Sakura, a little uneasy about all this, looked back a her friends. They all seemed to be in a wierd trance, just standing there like statues. Even Eli.
Then she glanced to Li. He seemed to be under some sort of spell too, but he was nervously glancing from herself to the women, looking totally confused. His eyes, like everyone elses, seemed to hold no life at all, just, blank.
Instinctively, Sakura slowly walked inbetween him and the women and called out her staff.
At her sudden movement, Li seemed to gain control over himself, but still felt confused. There standing in front of him was Sakura, the love of his life (ok, I know that sounded corny, but just play along), ready for battle against a women, or card, who seemed to be drawing him closer.
Sakura decided to act, if it was a card she has to catch it right? She threw the fire card above her head, and the star wand directly underneath it. "Firey!" she called out. As soon as she called out, a red figure flew from the card and hurled itself at the girl. But the stranger shielded itself using some sort of magic bubble, sending firey right back at them. "Sakura!" Li yelled out when the fire engulfed them.
"Sakura!!" Kerobearus cried out watching as his master was surrounded with flames.
Slowly the fire dissolved and dissapeared back into the card. Kerobearus let out a sigh of relief when he saw both Li and Sakura in little pink bubbles, Sakura with the shield card held out above her.
Sakura called the shield card away and the bubbles dissapeared. "Are you alright Li?" she asked worriedly. He nodded in response.
Suddenly the woman spoke. Her voice sounded misty yet mysterious. "I am destiny. All my life, ever since my love Sukio was taken from me, I swore to never let destiny get in the way again." She raised her voice and glared at Sakura. Her sad eyes turned to anger. "Yet you. A mere girl, still manage to overrule me by keeping this boy's heart. You will pay dearly for it!" She hissed. (Li reminded her of Sukio. That's why she wanted his heart.)
Destiny lifted up her arm as a dark orb of energy grew in the palm of her hand. It got to be the size of around 2 meters before she threw it full force towards Sakura.
Li acted fast. He ran infront of Sakura in the path of the orb. It hit him full out, sending him flying back into Sakura's arms, then taking her tumbling to the ground.
Sakura ignored the pain on her back and ribs, she lifted herself into a kneeling position, carefully holding Li's head up.
His face was now deathly pale and his eyes were shut in pain. At the sight of him like this, Sakura felt a sob coming and her sight was becoming blurry from the tears.
She pulled Li closer to her body gentally and began to sob uncontrollably.
"No Li it can't happen this way." She whispered in his ear.
Li desperately tried to open his eyes at the sound of her sobbing voice. When he got them to work, he saw Sakura's tear stained face.
Weakly, he reached up and wiped the tears off her cheek.
At the slight touch, she opened her eyes to see him smiling and looking weakly up at her. Those eyes brought a strange feeling to her. They brought comfort and care just like they did all those years ago. She had never given him a proper answer.
"Li, I love you too!!" She blurted out. At this Li smiled even more.
"Sakura...no matter what happens, I will always lo...." He takes a last shuddered breath, then fell silent and still.
Destiny couldn't believe what her own heart was saying. This, Sakura, reminded her so much of herself, and Li of her beloved Sukio, and she was just repeating her own hatred. A feeling she hadn't felt in a long time rushed through her body, and for once, she knew, she had to do the right thing.
Sakura's staff, that was on the ground, started to glow and lift off the stone slightly. The star in the center started to spin.
Destiny walked towards it and touched the end. There was a swirl of black and gold as Destiny turned into a card. It slowly floated over to Li, and obsorbed and dissolved into his chest.
All of a sudden, Li started breathing again. Destiny had given herself up, to bring Li back to life.
The couples stopped fighting, but seemed to be frozen as if time stopped.
Kerobearus seemed frozen too.
Li blinked and looked up at Sakura, who obviously hadn't noticed he was alive. Her eyes were shut and she was drowned too deep in her sorrows to notice.
He smiled and wiped the tears away again.
Sakura just about had a heart attack, someone was touching her face, then she heard a very familiar voice. "It's alright Sakura. Remember I told you that no matter what happens, I will always love you with all my heart."
Sakura snapped her eyes open to see a now healthy Li smiling up at her.
"Li! I thought I lost you!" She yelled out happily that she hadn't.
"Can't get rid of me that easily Sakura." He said jokingly.
She laughed. "Oh, I love you soo much! I don't know what took me so long to tell you!"
Slowly, he leaned up and kissed her deeply on the lips.
Suddenly everyone started to cheer and clap. Well, except for Tori and Kerobearus (who was know unfrozen), who were just mad.
They looked up to see Madison taping their kiss. "Oh... your just..sooooo.." She started.
"Wait, don't tell me, Kawaii right?" Eli cut in. Madison blushed.
"Get away from my sister!!" Tori yelled.
Sakura and Li blushed and started laughing along with everyone well Tori raged on.
****Epiloge****
Meilin was in the hotel packing up for the plane trip back to Hong Kong.
She glanced over to see Li looking very depressed. She sighed and went over to sit next to him.
"You can always come and visit Li." He nodded.
Meilin got an idea. "Li, I'm not going on the plane with a grumpy cousin thank you very much, so I'll phone you when I get there."
"Wha...?!" He looked up at her in alarm.
She got up and closed the suite case. "I'll tell your mom for you, and I'll send Wei to make sure you don't get into too much trouble." She walked over and kissed him on the cheek. "Have fun Li."
Then she walked out of her room and towards the shuttle bus waiting for her.
"Thanks Meilin." He said to himself. He found his cell phone and dialed the number he knew by heart.
"Hey Sakura..."
